Caregiver Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team in Chelsea, MI. The ideal candidate will provide supportive care and assistance to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks and maintaining a clean environment.


• Follow care plans and company policies to ensure quality care.


• Support mobility and assist with exercises as directed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in care-giving or related field preferred but not required.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude.


• Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus.
