Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a State-approved CNA program or relevant caregiving experience.
- Active license in good standing (for CNA or other relevant certifications).
- CPR certification (can be obtained upon hire).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- One professional reference prior to hire.
Preferred:
- One (1) year of experience in skilled nursing, caregiving, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- BLS Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, personalized care to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and help with feeding, ensuring clients’ nutritional needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, creating a positive and nurturing environment.
- Help with shopping and errands as needed, providing extra support in clients' daily lives.
- Promote safety and well-being for clients at all times.
- Comply with all Grace At Home Care policies and procedures.
- Collaborate professionally with fellow caregivers, families, and partner agencies
