Caregiver / CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant*

Senior Helpers of Central Iowa is seeking experienced caregivers to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate is a professional and self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing the best possible care to our senior population. Both full-time and part time positions are available. Responsibilities:

• Provide clients with companionship and conversation


• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and linen changing 


• Assist with various needs, including walking and eating assistance, planning and preparing meals, and bathing and dressing


• Provide transportation using clients vehicle to run occasional errands


• Assist with toileting


• Provide medication reminders and monitor Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and passion for caregiving


• Professional personal appearance and a record of punctuality 


• Willingness to undergo a background check, reference check, and drug screen


• Able to provide transportation to and from work on a daily basis


• Driver's license required


• Previous in-home caregiver experience preferred
