Key Responsibilities

As an in-home caregiver, you will provide dependable and compassionate support to elderly clients while helping them maintain their comfort, independence, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction to elderly clients in their homes


• Assisting clients with personal hygiene and daily care needs, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing


• Providing medication reminders as prescribed by the client’s healthcare provider


• Assisting clients with mobility throughout the home and in the community, including doctor’s appointments and walks


• Planning and preparing meals according to the client’s needs


• Completing grocery shopping and other client-related errands or accompanying clients while they shop


• Performing basic housekeeping and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment


• Recognizing and reporting unusual incidents or changes in a client’s condition


• Responding quickly, appropriately, and responsibly in emergency situations


• Providing activities and assistance that support clients with essential activities of daily living

Qualifications

Successful candidates should demonstrate professionalism, reliability, compassion, and a strong commitment to providing quality care.

Requirements include:

• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience


• Reliable transportation


• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening


• Ability and willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of your home address


• Ability and willingness to provide care to both male and female clients


• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations


• Supportive, compassionate, and dependable approach to client care

Position Details

Job Type: Part-time

Expected Hours: 4–30 hours per week

Willingness to Travel: 25% required

Work Location: On the road
