Caregiver, Float Full Time (In-Home Support)

Overview

We are currently hiring Float Caregivers to join our dedicated team at Heritage HH SVC, Inc. This role provides in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. As a Float Caregiver, you'll support clients in different home care settings throughout the Las Cruces, NM area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning (e.g., from bed to chair)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Administer medications and follow prescribed healthcare plans
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean home environment
• Transport or escort clients to appointments and errands
• Monitor and document changes in health, behavior, or client needs
• Adapt care based on guidance from medical professionals

• Compassionate, reliable, and observant caregivers
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Willingness to travel between client homes (float role)
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to quality care

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle (required for float caregivers)
• Prior experience in home care or caregiving preferred
