About the Role

Senior Helpers of Greater San Antonio is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide private duty care for a husband and wife living in Helotes, TX. This is a rewarding opportunity to support two clients with personal assistance, companionship, and daily living needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)


• Provide mobility support, safe transfers, and positioning


• Support with meal preparation and encourage proper nutrition


• Offer companionship and meaningful conversation


• Monitor health and cognitive changes, reporting concerns to family/agency staff


• Maintain a calm, structured environment for both clients

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED


• Prior caregiving experience (couples care experience preferred)


• Experience with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or cognitive impairments a plus


• CPR Certification encouraged


• Weekend availability may be required


• Strong interpersonal skills: patient, empathetic, and understanding


• Reliable transportation and punctuality
