Caregiver Monday-Friday 2p-10p

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to support a friendly and engaging male client with cerebral palsy affecting mobility from the waist down. He is a super sweet individual who enjoys conversation and values meaningful connection.

Client Overview:

• Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (waist down involvement)
   
• Wheelchair user
   
• Independent in communication and enjoys social interaction
   
• Motivated to remain active and involved in the community
   

Responsibilities:

• Assist with transfers and mobility support
   
• Provide assistance with ADLs (as needed)
   
• Support with personal care and hygiene
   
• Accompany client to community outings (shopping, events, appointments, recreational activities)
   
• Encourage social engagement and meaningful conversation
   
• Provide companionship and promote independence
   

Ideal Candidate:

• Patient, friendly, and dependable
   
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers
   
• Enjoys conversation and engaging with clients
   
• Experience with physical disabilities preferred
   
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation is required)

Requirements:

• Two valid forms of identification
  
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
  
• Negative TB (tuberculosis) test result
  
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
  
• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
  
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Must be dependable and punctual
  
• Ability to pass a background check
