Caregiver- Mothers hours

GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking for a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in the multiple locations for both shorter & longer hours. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support to our clients with the difficulty to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. The caregiver should remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Med reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Assist with client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements: 

• High school diploma preferred.
• Safe driving record with reliable transportation and car insurance
• Must be able to pass background check
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
