  Griswold Care Pairing for Lake and NE Cook Counties is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in the North Chicago, Waukegan, Gurnee, Wadsworth, Grayslake, Round Lake Beach, and Lake Villa areas. The ideal candidate will support our clients’ independence and enhance their quality of life through personalized care and attention.

  
  

  Responsibilities

  
  
  
  
  • Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  
  
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to foster a positive and engaging environment.
  
  
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed.
  
  
  • Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to the appropriate family members or supervisors.
  
  
  • Follow care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  
  
  • Ensure client safety at all times while respecting their dignity and preferences.
  
  
  
  

  Requirements

  
  
  
  
  • Previous caregiving or related experience is preferred but not required.
  
  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
  
  
  • Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings.
  
  
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the covered areas.
  
  
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
