Caregiver Responsibilities

• 
  

  Assist kūpuna with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)

  
  


• 
  

  Provide companionship and emotional support

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with mobility, transfers, and safety supervision

  
  


• 
  

  Light housekeeping and simple meal preparation

  
  


• 
  

  Observe and report changes in client condition

  
  


• 
  

  Follow individualized care plans with professionalism, dignity, and aloha

  
  

Caregiver Qualifications

• 
  

  CNA or NA (Nursing Assistant) certification

  
  


• 
  

  Current 2-step TB test (preferred for faster onboarding)

  
  


• 
  

  Fieldprint background check (preferred)

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable transportation (driver's license and auto insurance) or the ability to commute within Honolulu

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently in a home-care setting

  
  


• 
  

  Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
