Caregivers with Dementia Experience Needed

United Home Care is seeking caregivers with experience in dementia care. In this role, you will assist clients with daily activities, provide emotional support, and create a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. 
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being. 
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment. 
• Accurately document care activities and follow individualized care plans. 
• Ensure the client’s comfort and dignity at all times.

• Ability to respond to an emergency situation. 
• Patient, respectful, and gentle during all care tasks. 
• Attentive to detail and responsive to client needs. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Able to work independently and maintain professionalism. 

• Prior caregiving experience with dementia care required. 
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration. 
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray, per state regulations. 
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
