Rose Assisted Living provides professional, responsive, compassionate care to Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Seniors, and other vulnerable Alaskans in our community. We currently operate three homes in the Wasilla area, guaranteed to meet the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of our residents. We are looking for dedicated, compassionate caregivers to join our team.
(Starting Wage: from $18-25/hr) Negotiable based on experience and availability.
Must pass DRUG TEST. We continually drug test our employees.

Qualifications
- Valid motor vehicle operator license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medication administration: 1 year (Preferred)
- Tube feeding: 1 year (Preferred)
- CNA (Preferred)

Duties and Responsibilities – Caregiver / Personal Assistant
- Assist individual with daily living and care skills such as self-care, meal preparation, transportation, etc.
- Assist individual on accessing a variety of activities such as going out to eat, the movies, shopping, etc.
- Works with individual and family in a compassionate and understanding manner.
- Maintain positive and effective communication with all other staff members.
- Redirect problem behaviors (behavioral modification/ behavioral therapy skills preferred)
- Maintain a clean, safe and homelike environment.
Requirements: - Caregiver / Personal Assistant
Pass drug test.
High School Diploma or GED/equivalent; Minimum age - 18 yrs.
Ability to perform multiple lift and transfers- 50+ lbs.
Ability to pass State of Alaska Background Check.
Valid vehicle operator's license and a clean driving record.
Current vehicle insurance meeting the state minimum requirement.
Physical ability to lift, lower, and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Working availability including evenings, and weekends.

Salary: $18.00 per hour starting, to $25 per hour depending on experience.
