Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Carpenter to join our team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using the carpenter’s hand and power tools. The work that Odd Jobs Done Wright, LLC is primarily building decks, siding, room/house remodels, window and door replacements, and rot repair. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and regulations

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Use blueprints, sketches, and/or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed

Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters

Install fixtures and materials such as windows, doors, siding, flooring, trim, and hardware

Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of previous experience as a Carpenter

Experience in Home Maintenance / Handyperson work is a plus

Experience leading a cfrew of 2 to 3 resources is a plus

Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements

Ability to read and take action on design documents

Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools

General knowledge of building regulations and codes

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
