Carpenter

Cedar Park Group is hiring experienced Carpenters for long-term opportunities in Albany, NY.

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with a strong background in commercial and institutional maintenance and renovation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of journeyman-level experience in environments such as laboratories, medical, industrial, or R&D settings.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform finish and rough carpentry including framing with wood and metal studs


• Install and repair laboratory casework and epoxy resin countertops


• Execute repairs to flooring, ceilings (drop/hard), doors, windows, and roofing


• Safely operate power saws, hand tools, ladders, scaffolding, and boom lifts


• Work at heights and within secure facility protocols


• Travel locally to other assigned worksites when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of journeyman carpenter experience


• Proven experience in commercial, laboratory, or similar settings


• Familiarity with working in secure facilities


• Valid driver’s license required


• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption (with weekly testing)
