Carpenter

Under the direction of the Carpentry Manager, the incumbent constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, metal and wallboard in accordance with applicable building codes and oral instructions/specifications. In addition, the incumbent constructs, assembles, recovers, repairs, replaces and maintains gaming tables, hardware, fixtures, roulette wheels, money wheels and related casino accessories. High school diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of six (6) years of related commercial experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must be well-organized with ability to prioritize tasks. Must possess basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools and moving mechanical parts. Must supply personal hand tools and be detail-oriented. Individual must be able to carry 50 lbs and be able to work in extreme temperatures, i.e. high heat (non-weather) and cold weather. Position requires walking, standing, lifting and carrying. Fine motor hand and wrist movements needed. Accurate close and depth vision needed. Required to work at various heights using ladders, staging and/or scissor lifts. Must possess a valid driver's license.
