Steelhead is looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our production team. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, delivering high-quality parts, cabinets, walls, shelves, frames, and other custom pieces on time and without error. You will cut, assemble, and finish multiple materials daily, and occasionally work overtime to meet project deadlines.

This is a great role for someone who thrives in a dynamic production environment, values craftsmanship, and takes pride in delivering accurate, on-time work.

What You’ll Do

• Read and interpret detailed prints to build custom pieces accurately.


• Construct cabinets, walls, shelves, frames, and other custom items as needed.


• Cut materials such as Sintra, acrylic, and B-Matrix panels.


• Perform angle and miter cuts with precision.


• Install drawer slides and hardware.


• Refurbish damaged inventory to like-new condition.


• Build custom crates for shipping and transport.


• Perform soldering and other minor fabrication tasks as required.


• Maintain high quality and accuracy while keeping pace in a fast-moving production environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with woodworking and material cutting.


• Familiarity with tools such as table saws, miter saws, skill saws, routers, Dremels, and angle finders.


• Experience with finishing and painting techniques.


• Dependable with strong time-management skills.


• Ability to maintain quality under increased speed and tight deadlines.


• Willingness to occasionally work overtime for larger projects.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, bending, and reaching.


• Occasional sitting, kneeling, and stooping.


• Work in both indoor and outdoor settings.


• Work around machinery with moving parts, moving objects, and vehicles.


• Exposure to dampness, humidity, slippery or uneven surfaces, ladders, and scaffolding.


• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and fumes.

The work environment includes exposure to power tools, machinery, wood, aluminum, steel, dust, loud noise, fumes, cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, humidity, and uneven or slippery surfaces.
