Job Description - Carpenter & Fiberglass Technician

Anchors Up, Inc is a marine service company that supports recreational boat owners throughout Southern California; with service areas to include the marinas located in San Pedro, Long Beach, Newport Beach, Redondo Beach and Marina Del Rey and our facility that is located in Long Beach. We provide re-power, restoration, service, repair, maintenance and upgrade services for boats of all sizes, makes and models.

Anchors Up, Inc. is seeking to hire a qualified Carpenter that will be responsible for assisting in boat repairs on recreational boats. Work duties will involve the fabrication of boat cabinetry, panels, plates, access hatches, swim steps, doors, window frames and more.

Qualified applicants must have three years of carpentry experience. Marine specific experience and fiberglass experience is a plus but will train the right candidate as needed.

This position is for full time employment.

Requirements

General Requirements:

3+ Years of Verifiable Carpentry Experience

Marine specific experience is a plus

Fiberglass experience is a plus

Ability to read application data sheets, specifications and drawings in English

Ability to follow directions, learn and develop your skills

Minimum of 3 References
