Scenic Valley Builders remodels and builds additions for homes in Lancaster & Chester counties and the surrounding areas. We aim to improve the quality of our customers' lives by transforming their homes and delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

We are looking for a full-time, reliable Carpenter to join us in occasional new construction, interior/exterior remodeling, roofing & siding, framing, and kitchen & bathroom work. If you have experience as a carpenter, builder, or handyperson, consider joining our reputable, faith-based company.

Our Ideal Carpenter:

• Experience: A construction or carpentry background is preferred but not required. Previous experience in roofing, siding, remodeling, framing, decking, handyman, etc., is helpful. Must be comfortable driving a pickup truck and trailer.
• Willing: Looking for someone eager to learn and serve the customer and the team.
• Dependable: On time for work. Must be at the shop at 5:45 am to arrive at the job site at the promised time – someone who is safety-focused and will reliably transport the crew & equipment.
• Takes Initiative: To complete our projects & return home on time, make consistent daily progress, and contribute to the team.
• Team Player: Interacts well with teammates and customers, cares about the quality of work, and demonstrates humility and a willingness to learn.
• Quality Focused: We want to deliver the best for our customers and are looking for carpenters with good attention to detail who take pride in their work.
• Professional: Your appearance, words, and actions must be respectful, presentable, and thoughtful since you enter other people's homes.
• Active: This position requires climbing a ladder, kneeling, bending, standing, and walking, as well as lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Clean Driving Record: Must have a valid PA License and reasonably clean driving record for the past three years. Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Provide your nail bag and small toolbox.
