Northwoods is expanding, and we’re looking for incredible people to be part of our mission! Our Case Aide Generalist position is always open for talented individuals ready to make a real impact. This role provides crucial administrative support to Child Welfare case management, helping social workers focus on what matters most—children and families.

What You Bring to the Table (Required)

✅ Willingness to work in the office at least 3 days a week

✅ Child welfare agency experience in intake and/or ongoing units, either as a caseworker or supervisor, providing direct support to the casework processes 
✅ A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and full coverage auto insurance
✅ Ability to pass a Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) and FBI background check
✅ Authorization to work in the United States
✅ Capability to sit or stand for extended periods

What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Your Superpowers 🦸)

✨ Supporting child welfare departments with records requests, data processing, referral support, and case audits
✨ Managing and prioritizing incoming requests from agency staff like a pro
✨ Handling important administrative tasks such as document processing, form completion, and electronic file management
✨ Preparing reports, emails, and letters with accuracy and professionalism
✨ Ensuring smooth communication between all parties throughout ticket requests
✨ Proactively reaching out to caseworkers to keep things moving efficiently
✨ Dedicating part of your time to specialist ticket types like case research, placement assistance, and supervision support
✨ Keeping internal documentation updated so your team can always find what they need
✨ Maintaining confidentiality while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
