Job Description - Case Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

The knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s in criminal justice, psychology, education, or a related field.

  • Two years of job-related experience.

  • Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

As a Case Manager, you’ll play a critical role in helping individuals navigate programming, treatment, reentry planning, and facility expectations. This is a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven position where no two days are the same. You’ll balance structured case management with real‑time problem solving, communication, and collaboration with security, clinical services, and leadership. Your work directly contributes to safer operations, improved outcomes, and the success of the people we serve. Duties include but are not limited to\: 

  • Case planning, prioritizing, and managing caseloads.

  • Release planning, motivational interviewing, conducting risk assessments and facilitating groups related to specific needs of the population. 

  • Case managers deliver interventions and incentives to target behavior change. 

  • This position will coordinate with other staff in the facility to assess program progress and completion.

     

This position is located in a correctional facility and will have daily contact with adult offenders serving sentences for felony convictions.
