Job Description - Case Manager (Paralegal)

Speaks Law Firm is looking for a highly motivated and organized Case Manager/Paralegal to support our growing team. Candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of case management experience specific to personal injury. This position will report to our Wilmington office and hours of work are Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Proactive communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionals.
Conduct routine client contact regarding case updates, treatment, coverage investigations, etc.
Assist with legal research and case preparation.
Maintain updated lien and balance information.
Communicate with insurance and health adjusters regarding demand packages, policies, liens, and payment logs.
Complete systematic file review of demand packages.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher preferred
Paralegal certificate a plus
One (1) year of case management experience specific to personal injury required
Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude required
Must be able to work on-site from 8:30am to 5:30pm
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate computer skills
Understand legal language, principles, and other related processes
Needles/Neos case management software experience a plus

Compensation:
The is a full-time salary position with competitive compensation depending on experience.
