CLIENT'S AVAILABLE SCHEDULE
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The Intensive Case Manager (ICM) works with people referred through the Board of Social Services, who are receiving public welfare benefits through Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and General Assistance (GA), who are nearing the lifetime limits of their benefits, and enrolled in Supportive Assistance to Individuals and their Families (SAIF). The ICM seeks to accompany marginalized people on the path to self-sufficiency, unburden them from the rules and scrutiny of the public welfare system, and bring them into full participation in society by helping them experience the value and dignity of employment. When employment is not realistic, the ICM seeks to ensure that the marginalized are connected with as many resources as possible to protect their safety and ensure their rights.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Reflect the mission and vision of Catholic Charities in every encounter with and on behalf of clients
*Receive and review new client intake information from the Board of Social Services (BoSS) on a monthly basis
*Conduct and document comprehensive client assessments utilizing a trauma-informed interviewing style
*Assist clients in the development of an individualized service plan (ISP) that utilizes their strengths and interests, and moves them toward employment
*Assess clients' barriers toward employment and make necessary referrals to assist in addressing those barriers in a manner that protects the vulnerable
*Outreach to clients a minimum of twice monthly to ensure movement toward the goals they have set in their ISP; make home visits as necessary to engage clients
*Document all in-person and phone contacts with client such that it adequately and accurately reflects the interaction, progress toward the clients' goals, challenges in accomplishing the goals, and next steps
*Communicate to the BoSS any client non-participation in program activities
*Complete a monthly report that documents all efforts in communicating with clients and movement toward their goals
*Monitor clients' time in the program and ensure client is aware when they near time limits and the consequences of such
*Attend meetings with State and County officials related to client time limits and be a fair and strong advocate for clients during those meetings
*Assist in the planning and actualization of trauma-informed activities for clients that assist in moving them toward self-sufficiency
*Seek out and share employment opportunities for clients
*Provide or identify employment support to clients on an as-needed basis
*Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, emergent literature and research, in-service seminars and workshops, etc., in accord with professional licensure standards and requirements.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Related Field
* 1 year post degree relevant work experience.
* Organized and demonstrates strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with computers and necessary software
* Most clients require vaccination with booster, exemptions may be accepted
