   What You’ll Do:  

• Post all incoming payments accurately and timely from multiple sources, including electronic remittance advice (ERA/EFT), checks, cash, credit card payments, and patient payments. 
• Reconcile daily deposits against bank activity, remittance reports, and practice management/billing system records. 
• Assist in month-end closing by ensuring all appropriate information is posted to patient accounts within company guidelines. 
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied balances, missing payments, and posting variances. 
• Post insurance recoupments, take-backs, denials, and adjustments accurately according to payer guidelines and company procedures. 
• Cross-train and fill-in other areas within the Billing Department as needed. 

 What We’re Looking For:  

•  High school diploma or equivalent required  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Minimum 1–2 years of medical payment posting, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred. 
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
• Ability to reconcile payments accurately and identify discrepancies. 
• The ability to use discretion in handling confidential information 

Physical Needs:   

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
