Job Title: Thrift Store Cashier

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Thrift Store Cashier to join our team. As a Thrift Store Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position is a 25-30 hour position and may include weekends.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system

- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and attention to detail

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking merchandise and keeping checkout area tidy

- Answer customer questions and provide information about store policies and merchandise

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
