Cashier

We are looking for a Lead Cashier for our cafe. The ideal candidate should be calm, flexible, and able to work through high-volume lines while providing the best customer service possible.

Monday-Friday 7am to 3:00pm. Located at our Cafe in Troy on Big Beaver.

Responsibilities

• Entering orders and taking payment


• Stocking beverage coolers and snack displays daily


• Inform management of low stock items for re-order
  


• Keep the service area and dining room clean and tidy


• 
  Light food prep including wrapping baked goods, preparing grab and go items, ect.


• Keep all equipment clean and free of debris during daily cleaning


• 
  Friendly and professional customer service


• 
  Helping team members and training new staff


• 
  Answering customer questions
  


• Follow all health and safety guidelines


• Any other tasks required by management

Requirements:

• Must be able to work 40 hours/week


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of identification


• Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
  


• Strong organization and active listening skills


• The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time


• Exceptional time management skills
  


• Experience in the food service industry
