Cashier

Summary: Operates cash register to itemize and total customer's purchases.

• Have the ability to run the cash register, scales, check and visa/master card machines
• Reviews weekly ads to note price changes and sale items.
• Clean register with wet rag as needed throughout the day and every night before leaving.
• When ringing up beer or wine, you MUST check their ID before you ring them up to be sure they are 21 years old.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for a 12-hour shift and occasional more hours. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, twist torso or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
