Cashier

Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm; occasional Saturday availability

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system


• Process payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket


• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers


• Greeting customers and answering phones


• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution


• Assist with balancing of the cash drawer and resolve any discrepancies


• Additional duties include filing, data entry and other similar tasks

 Qualifications

• Ability to communicate customers' interests’ needs and requests to management 


• Attention to detail


• Cash handling experience


• Basic math and computer skills
