Job Description:

ThinkTell Junction We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, or check payments, and providing excellent customer service at all times.  

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their shopping needs.


• Operate cash registers and handle all forms of payment accurately.


• Scan goods for purchase, ensuring correct pricing and discounts are applied.


• Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers in an efficient manner.


• Maintain a tidy checkout area and ensure all equipment is clean and functioning properly.

Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.


• Previous experience operating a cash register or handling cash is an advantage.


• Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
