Job Description

Pattern Promotions We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and possess the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payments, managing cash registers, issuing receipts, and handling customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy 

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service throughout their shopping experience.


• Operate the cash register, process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.


• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct for all purchases.


• Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers as necessary.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
