We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our store, responsible for handling transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout counter.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using point of sale (POS) systems.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding store space.
• Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate balances.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle monetary transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
