Overview & Responsibilities

SHARES

• Set up new accounts on core system (savings, CD’s, checking, clubs).
• Order checks.
• Order debit cards, set up in core. 
• Setup online banking and maintain accounts in Virtual Branch (password resets).
• Open and maintain certificate accounts - new, renewals, rollovers, closures.
• Post dividends and close accounts.
• Create payroll deduction authorization list to start P/D for each member
• Set up payroll deduction allocations for each account.

MEMBER ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE

• Enter open/closed accounts on core system.
• Perform all member transactions.
• Research discrepancies.
• Scan new IDs.
• Enter transfers between accounts.
• Enter address changes and other account maintenance.
• Field problematic telephone and window inquiries.
• Prepare weekly cash deposit for pickup.
• Prove, prepare daily check deposits, scan for remittance to Alloya Corp CU.
• Pick up mail and process transactions daily.

DEBIT CARD PROGRAM

• Process applications.
• Card issue authorization.
• Daily transaction processing.
• Adjustments, corrections and returns.
• Card Maintenance.
• Hot cards.
• Close Accounts.
• Fraud research.

OTHER DUTIES

• Address all member inquiries: in person or phone calls.
• Operate computer system (open, close, backup, etc.).
• Month end close out procedure.
• Order office supplies.
• Rotate to branch office as needed.
• Assist in any areas as needed.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Advanced Accounting Education

• Banking Experience
• Cash Handling
