Cashier-Part time - Hiring Urgently

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team at Mike Anderson Chevrolet Group in Chicago, Illinois. This role is best suited for an individual who wants to be a part of a fast-paced environment in the auto industry. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling payments and providing exceptional customer service. This is an individual contributor role, where you will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals.

Hours:
TUESDAY-FRIDAY 3-8
SATURDAY 8-1

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process payments for vehicle purchases, services, and parts
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Maintain a neat and organized cashier station
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely transactions
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding payment processing and customer interactions
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving any payment issues or concerns
- Keep accurate records of transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling and credit card transactions
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Availability to work flexible part-time hours.
