CAT Scale Company is hiring hard-working and dedicated concrete construction laborers to join our team and travel throughout the United States to maintain and repair our 2,250+ CAT Scales.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse individuals, including crew members, foremen, maintenance crews, subcontractors, and customers.
• Concrete work and repair
• Scale deck repair
• Trenching for conduit
• Using a variety of tools
• Maintain CAT Scale equipment.
• Travel 2-3 weeks at a time, working 7 days a week

• A construction background is helpful, and concrete experience is highly preferred!
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all types of people
• Able to work successfully under limited supervision AND in a team-based setting
• You must be accountable for your actions, be detail-oriented, and take the initiative to complete projects promptly.
• Possesses the ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly and must be able to stand, kneel, and bend over long periods.
• Work outside during all types of weather.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, or 2-3 weeks at a time, throughout the United States and Canada. 
• Must have the ability to obtain a Passport.
• Ensure all safety guidelines and organizational best practices are always followed.
• Employees MUST live within two hours from CAT Scale Headquarters in Walcott, Iowa. 

License

• Valid Class A CDL with good driving record (preferred) or ability to obtain one in the first 3 months of employment.
