About the position Verdant Specialty Solutions is looking for a Category Buyer to take ownership of sourcing and procurement in the Petrochemical & Ethylene Value Chains (solvents, amines, ethylene oxide, and derivatives).

What you will do

• Lead category strategy & supplier partnerships across global/regional markets
• Negotiate contracts & secure competitive supply agreements
• Analyze trends, feedstocks & risks that shape cost structures
• Drive measurable impact in cost savings & value creation

• 5+ years in procurement or category management (chemicals, oil & gas, or related)
• STEM degree + strong finance/analytical skills
• Skilled in SAP, BI tools & Excel
• A hands-on, results-driven mindset with strong communication skills
• On-site 5 days per week
