Category Specialist - Services

The Category Specialist is responsible and accountable to support the Category Manager for Direct Sourcing / Category Management with a focus on Services procurement. An important success factor is being able to support the category visions. You will support the Global Category Manager for sourcing strategies and implementation for defined categories supporting Westinghouse's business. With support from the Global Indirect Director and the Lead Category Manager, the Category Specialist will help develop strategies to manage spend within the category.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  You will support all types of Service category, including Staff Augmentation, Technical Consulting, Engineering Services and other Service related categories to support Westinghouse North America locations.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct business analysis of spend from PowerBI and other tools. Provide insights into the drivers of spend history and possible effects to future spend projections.

  
  


• 
  

  Track performance against metrics of payment terms, on-time delivery, productivity, inflation, price variance, commodity changes, and other business critical metrics to share with Procurement Leadership.

  
  


• 
  

  Support Category Managers in development of program presentations

  
  


• 
  

  Daily support across Category Management team solving business issues and analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Support Category Managers performing competitive analysis with RFI, RFP, and RFQ development including assess results, document recommendations, and help communicate results to team members and suppliers.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree

  
  


• 
  

  1+ years of experience – Services related supply chain experience preferred vs. other areas of supply chain

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Staff Augmentation and Engineering Services

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions

  
  


• 
  

  Skilled in making informed decisions, resolving complex challenges, and leading projects to successful outcomes

  
  


• 
  

  Organized, detail‑driven, and experienced at prioritizing tasks in deadline‑driven environments

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage stress and maintain professional composure, while completing multiple requests and projects simultaneously·

  
  


• 
  

  Able to analyze complex datasets and identify patterns, trends, and opportunities

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of SAP/Ariba, ERP Systems and Cost Savings Tracking Systems (Wave)

  
  

Poland:
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 7,333 to 9,133 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.

US:
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $54,000 to $67,500 per year.
