JOB DESCRIPTION

Fresh City Kitchen is an established and rapidly growing corporate catering company serving the Boston Metro area. We’re here to provide peace of mind to our clients through the delivery of outstanding catered meals to their offices.

The Client Service Liaison (CSL) is a critical administrative role at Fresh City Kitchen (FCK). They are the voice and face of FCK for our client’s day-to-day needs and requests. The CSL works directly with clients planning new orders, answer questions and building relationships. Attention to fine details and clear communication skills are critical to performing this job.

  • Absolutely loves the nitty-gritty details, reviewing menu accuracy, inputting adjustments at a rapid pace, and providing real-time support to clients and our internal operations team simultaneously.
  • Excited to own the efficient and accurate entry of 100+ catering orders weekly.
  • Enjoys talking to clients multiple times daily via inbound phone calls and emails.
  • Quickly becomes a menu expert. With a combination of training and your own curiosity you continually observe and learn the inner workings of our always evolving menu. You develop into a goto knowledge base for clients and team members for current menu information.
  • Sets the example for organization company wide. You must gain energy from being organized, and helping others become more organized.
  • Enjoys tracking down information where there is a missing link. Wired to finish, close the loop, and push through the messy details to ensure accuracy and excellent customer service.
  • Possesses a natural feel for the absolute right delivery of communication when answering calls or responding to clients via email. Shows the ability to adjust to the context of a situation with the appropriate wording and tone.
  • Feels strongly about taking the time to label and organize orders with the appropriate allergy and dietary information to ensure guests know what common allergens may be present in their meals.
  • Confident, kind, and honest. Never rude, pushy or condescending. Not scared to ask clients and team members for clarification to ensure accuracy.

The Skills You Need To Win:

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative or customer service oriented role.

  • You are an extremely detail-oriented person.
  • The ability to effectively interact with and work through details with clients & other team members using excellent communication skills.
  • Possesses a strong desire to deeply & effectively listen to others
  • Curiosity about how and why things work...or don’t work!
  • Strong experience with the Google Suite of applications, including a high efficiency with spreadsheets, as well as some Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with catering/restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Spoken and written knowledge of Spanish is plus!

Schedule:

  • This is an in-office position at our Brighton, MA location
  • Generally the hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday Through Friday

○ (Occasional shifts in hours may be requested with noticed based on time of year and business volume)

○ (Some flexibility in start and end times exists to accommodate personal and family needs)
