Summary


The Catering Sales Manager is a revenue-generating role focused on acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, and driving sales for catering services across corporate, social, and digital channels.  This position supports the business’s goal by executing strategic outreach, closing high-value contracts, and collaborating on premium service offerings.



Responsibilities



  • Prospect and secure new catering clients through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline and track progress toward monthly and quarterly sales goals.

  • Develop customized proposals and close contracts for corporate events, holiday packages, and social gatherings.

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Upsell premium add-ons and experiential services to increase average order value.

  • Work closely with the Catering Director to align sales efforts with operational capacity and growth strategy.

  • Coordinate with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Provide input on pricing models, package development, and seasonal offerings.

  • Ensures billing, invoicing and collection are done in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and generate weekly sales reports.

  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets

  • Analyze conversion rates, lead sources, and client segments to optimize outreach.

 

Requirements



  • 3+ years in catering, hospitality, or B2B sales with proven revenue results.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience with CRM platforms and proposal tools (e.g., Incentivio, Toast).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

  • Knowledge of food service trends and event planning best practices.


Pay range: $50,000 - $55,000 Annually plus sales commission
