Catering Sales Representative

Summary/Objective
Exceed customer expectations with outstanding customer service for each order and event sold. Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals and quotas. Work effectively within the catering team structure to maintain a cohesive working unit.

· Receive all in-bound order calls

· Process all orders through catering software 

· Prepare and follow through with all proposals 

· Follow-up on all online inquiries on assigned day

· Complete sales calls and follow up calls 

· Complete all required paperwork for each booked event/order

· Manage personal schedule and work load

· Follow up calls for all delivery/events scheduled

· All catering calls/messages returned within 24 hour period 

· Meet with clients when requested 

· Other duties as assigned

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position typically scheduled for 40 hours per week. The required schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, with work during general office hours (9 am to 5 pm). Some flexibility with specific start/stop times may be available. Flexible schedule may be required. Additional training and/or education hours may be required.  This position is required to work on site and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

 Work Environment

· Includes working in a typical office setting

· Typically, maintains a moderate noise level

· Working with exposure to dust, mold, gluten, fragrances and other fumes and airborne particles, fresh fruits, vegetables, house plants, and flowers

· Working in proximity to and using common commercial cleaning agents 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent 

• Minimum one year of experience in inside sales/call center environment

• Documented success in completion of goals and objectives

• Computer competence in Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferred Education and Experience

• Knowledge of Caterease Software preferred
