Description
Forest Highlands Country Club is currently hiring Special Event Banquet Servers. This is an opportunity to be a part of a professional team that enjoys executing special and unique events.
Banquet Staff Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
· Assist with food and table prep before the event begins.
· Run food from the kitchen to banquets (event location) on demand.
· Set up buffets with food presentation standards and best practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance.
· Present a clean and professional image at all times.
· Maintain composure in fast paced environment.
· Tray service skills required. Cocktail trays and large oval tray service essential.
· Serve plated dinners to guests and response to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs.
· Communicate with catering manager as well as other servers and event organizers
· Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
· Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks.
· Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, ensuring all condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
· Room setup, including moving tables and chairs.
· Extreme attention to detail and quality presentations.
