Cath Lab Technician

Position Details

• Shift: 07:00 AM 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (4 days per week, 10-hour shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• On-Call: 1 night per week, every 4th to 5th weekend
• Specialty: Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology (IR)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (IR scrub experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, equipment setup, and patient monitoring
• Active traveler Cath Lab Technician skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, assess, and position patients for cardiac and interventional procedures
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor hemodynamic status
• Assist physicians before, during, and after procedures with accurate communication of patient condition
• Scrub, circulate, and assist in diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures
• Manage equipment setup and supplies before, during, and post-procedure
• Document patient care plans and procedure details accurately
