POSITION OVERVIEW
• Full-time Cath Lab Technician position within a cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Works four 10-hour shifts
• On-call requirement of one night per week and every fifth weekend
• Provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with established standards of practice
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary care teams to support patient care activities
• Participates in patient education, care planning, monitoring, and documentation activities

COMPENSATION
• Salary range: $76,000-$102,000 annually
• $20,000 sign-on bonus

SCHEDULE
• Full-time Days
• Four 10-hour shifts
• One night of call per week
• Every fifth weekend on call

FACILITY
• Frye Regional Medical Center
• 355-bed acute care facility
• Part of Lifepoint Health

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform patient care activities within the Cath Lab environment
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Coordinate patient care, transfers, discharge planning, and referrals
• Provide patient and family education
• Advocate for patient wellbeing and patient rights
• Participate in individualized patient care planning and evaluation

• Current ARRT certification OR RCIS certification REQUIRED
• BLS certification REQUIRED
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire or transfer REQUIRED
• Associate degree from a Radiological Technology program REQUIRED
• Equivalent Cath Lab experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement
• Hospital experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred
