Position: Cath Lab Technologist

ACLS, BLS, Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CI), Fluoroscopy,
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
Shift Notes
8 hr Days
Pay:$85-$90 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Unit: Cath Lab
- - Certs: BLS, ACLS, Fluoro, RCIS or ARRT required
- - Ratios: average 80+ EP per month, specials 60-80, cath lab 30-50
- - EMR: McKesson
- - Charge Nurse: Charge break relief
- - Nurse Aides: NO cath lab techs
- - Call: Travelers will not be expected to take call; however if experienced & willing to take call this could be possible M-F
- - Scrub Color: Provided
- - Tele: McKesson
- - Vents: No
- - RT 24/7: Yes
- - Pharmacy 24/7: In house until 10 pm. 24/7 access -
- pharmacy out of Dominican hospital after hours does auto verification, Do have an on-call pharmacist.
- - Shifts: 8 hours
- - Floating: No
- - Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts with a preceptor
- - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Peripheral, Interventional Oncology, pacers, ICD,
- Therma cool, Impella, no TAVR but hope to in the future
