Cath Lab Technologist

Key Responsibilities:  

• 
  

  Prepare and operate specialized equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures. 

  
  

• 
  

  Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamics, promptly reporting changes. 

  
  

• 
  

  Assist physicians with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiology procedures. 

  
  

• 
  

  Administer contrast media under physician supervision and ensure proper imaging. 

  
  

• 
  

  Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols. 

  
  

• 
  

  Accurately document procedures and patient care in the medical record. 

  
  

• 
  

  Participate in call rotation and respond to emergency cardiac cases. 

  
  

Qualifications:  

• 
  

  1 year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting  

  
  

• 
  

  Ability to float to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab; experience with pacemakers required 

  
  

• 
  

  Current ARRT (R) or RCIS certification 

  
  

• 
  

  BLS and ACLS certifications 

  
  

• 
  

  Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
