We’re currently seeking an experienced Driveability Technician with a strong background in CDJR (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) vehicles to join our fast-paced and growing service department.

The Driveability Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation of between $32.00 and $39.00, plus a productivity bonus equivalent up to a maximum hourly rate of $50.00 per hour based on individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex engine, transmission, electrical, and emission-related concerns


• Perform software updates, flash programming, and re-learns using OEM scan tools


• Identify driveability issues including misfires, stalling, hesitation, rough idle, and fuel system irregularities


• Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate recommendations


• Collaborate closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repairs


• Stay up to date on the latest CDJR technical bulletins, recalls, and diagnostic procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CDJR-specific diagnostic and driveability experience


• Strong understanding of powertrain control systems, modules, and vehicle electronics


• Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment (WiTech, etc.)


• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record


• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening


• ASE Master Technician Certification preferred (but not required)


• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
