We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and the ability to safely transport architectural glass to various locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver orders to designated locations, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload glass materials carefully, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines and optimize delivery times.
  Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and reports.

Delivery area consists of New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Lower New York State, New York City and surrounding areas. Exceptions may occur.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-Class A) with a clean driving record
• 3-5 years of driving experience – experience with a box truck preferred.
• Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role, preferably in the transportation of fragile materials.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading glass materials.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
