Job Description - CDL A Driver

Description

Are you an experienced CDL A driver?
Vermeer All Roads in Avon, NY is hiring an OTR CDL A Truck Driver with a tanker endorsement. This hybrid position involves transporting Vermeer equipment, delivering parts, and performing light preventive maintenance at the shop.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate of $26–$30.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old
Clean driving record
Prior CDL driving experience

Responsibilities:

Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations
Secure equipment safely onto the trailer
Remain alert while operating the vehicle
Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
Communicate effectively with employees and customers
All other duties as assigned.
