CDL A Driver/Laborer-Vermeer

Description

Are you an experienced CDL A driver who also enjoys a variety of tasks? Have you operated heavy equipment? Vermeer All Roads in Avon, NY is searching for a CDL A truck driver/general laborer/tech assistant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for transporting Vermeer equipment, assisting technicians/mechanics, and organizing equipment on the lot. You will be driving a Ford 550 with a trailer. This is a full time, benefits eligible position with a competitive hourly rate. Responsibilities include:

1. Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations
2. Secure equipment safely onto the trailer
3. Operate equipment and move throughout the yard
4. Remain alert while operating the vehicle
5. Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
6. Communicate effectively with employees and customers
7. All other duties as assigned.

Pay is $26 - $30 hourly.
