CDL A Regional Driver – Home Weekends

Experienced CDL A drivers needed to fill regional lanes hauling new propane tanks in the eastern half of the US (not NYC). Come join a team where your experience is rewarded with industry leading pay and benefits!

WHAT’S IMPORTANT TO YOU
Pay & Home Time

$78,000 to $95,000 average annual pay
Sign on and referral bonus potential
Minimum of a 34-hour restart over the weekend (usually Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday)

About the job

Freight is new propane tanks
5 to 6 day work week
Start days vary Sunday-Tuesday
1 to 4 routes per week with 1 to 4 layovers required per week
Driver assisted unload
Must verify securement of load
Equipment includes 5-year-old or newer Freightliner or Kenworth trucks with automatic transmissions and step deck flatbed trailers
Rider/pet friendly policy for these lanes

WHAT WE REQUIRE

Class A CDL
Current hazmat endorsement
Minimum 21 years of age on date of hire

At least 1-year verifiable CDL experience in the last 3 years including at least 6 months verifiable flatbed experience in the last 3 years
Legally authorized to work in the US
Winter driving experience
Must have appropriate PPE (steel toe boots, hard hat, gloves, safety vest, ear plugs)
Ability to read and communicate in English
Must be able to pass standard DOT urine drug screen
Must have an acceptable DOT physical or be able to pass DOT physical
Stable work history
Acceptable MVR
Ability to satisfactorily complete a criminal background check
Must live in the hiring area (northeast OH, upstate NY, and northern PA)
Base in Fremont OH. If you do not live in Fremont, OH, you will have to secure parking for the truck and trailer
