CDL A/B Driver & Yard and Warehouse Worker

OVERVIEW

Fast-paced,  busy  roofing  construction  company  seeks  a CDL  A/B  Driver  & Yard/Warehouse worker  such  duties  include  manually  loading  and unloading  materials,  operating  mechanical loading  equipment,  preparing  materials  and equipment  for  installation,  and keeping  accurate records of the receipts.

TYPICAL DUTIES

•    Performs a pre-trip inspection. Ensure load is properly and safely tied down in accordance with company policy.

•   Operates tow motor/forklift equipment to load and unload materials

•    May check incoming materials, equipment, supplies against packing slips; transport/move materials to the proper location

•  Must be proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated.

•  Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.

Previous tow motor and forklift experience

•    Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform the work - including  the ability to lift 100 pounds, climb up, down and off of trucks/equipment.

•  Some knowledge of the roofing industry including materials and equipment.

•  Valid Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

•   Must pass a required drug test and possess a current DOT medical certificate.

•  No DWI or DUI convictions within the last 12 months.

•  One or more accidents and/or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and

Management.

•    Willingness and ability to learn the work practices and procedures  applicable to construction yard operations.

Starting wage:Negotiable
