CDL & Non CDL Lead Driver

AWH Logistics, LLC is looking for experienced Class C (or higher) Lead delivery drivers in Leetsdale, PA. Are you a leader?  Do you enjoy working with other to create a strong team? A Lead Driver oversees a team of drivers, providing training and support, managing schedules, and ensuring safe and efficient operations. They also handle tasks like loading/unloading, vehicle maintenance, and other duties. A lead driver sets the example for other drivers on how to be safe and efficient while providing excellent deliveries.

-         Training & Mentorship – Lead drivers are responsible for training new drivers on all aspects of the job.

-         Performance Evaluations – Monitor and evaluate performance and provide feedback.

-         Coverage – Cover open routes and call offs.

-         Team Building – Lead drivers display a positive attitude and work collaboratively with others, encouraging teamwork and efficiency.

-         Loading, Scanning, & Paperwork – Lead drivers will assist drivers with proper O,S, & D, scanning, and loading of trucks.

-         Safety Compliance – Lead drivers are the example of safety and always display excellent safety habits.

Monday-Friday NIGHTTIME POSITIONS. NO weekends; home DAILY. Health benefits and PTO available. Room for growth. 

Requirements:

1) Must be 21 years old.

2) Three years verifiable commercial driving experience (Semi, Tanker, etc.) in the past 3 years.

3) Clean Motor Vehicle Record.

4) Must have a valid DOT Medical Card

5) Must have a valid class C license (or higher)

6) Will need to pass a road test.

7) Must consent to a MVR, criminal background check and drug screen; (AWH Logistics, LLC must receive a negative result).

8) FMCSA Clearinghouse – Must consent to annual/limited queries and hold a Not Prohibited status

9)  Ability to safely climb into the truck box with/without the lift gate

10) Ability to safely lift 50 lbs as needed

11) Understanding of ELD's

12) Hands on delivery is required

Driver Leadership Experience is a PLUS

 This position pays on Friday weekly.

Experience:

• Non-CDL - 26' box truck experience: 3 years.
  


• CDL - Tractor Trailer experience: 3 years.

License/Certification:

• Non-CDL ; Operator License & DOT Medical Card.


• CDL- Class A CDL & DOT Medical Card.
